- Preparative Experiment
- Measurement of openloop transfer function and power spectrum of the signals
that is possibly recorded during DT2.
--> For configuring the whitening filter and DC cut filter
- Determine frequency range, input amplitude, frequency step for measurement
of the L- openloop transfer function
- Determine an amplitude of the injecting signal at a fixed frequency
- from 19:00 on 8/6 to 6:00 in next morning
- Analyses
- Evaluation of fluctuation (L- loop)
- Evaluation of error in transfer function estimation with injecting signals
only at a fixed frequency
- Quantitative evaluation of low frequency drifting in every control loops
- Gathering fundamental informations for Data Taking 2
1999/8/2 (DT1)
- Tidied up the consoles, the racks and the floor of the center room. Installing
a 16ch data logger.
1999/8/3 (DT1prep)
- Experiment started at 17 o'clock.
l- filter improved. Alignment adjustment. Spots are adjusted at the center
of the PDs.
- LSC and ASC of the IFO have been locked at 22 o'clock with common/differencial
signals of frontal modulation.
DT1prep started.

- Supplimental measurements for the data taken on 8/3.
Adjustments of the whitening filters
Adjustment of the amplitudes of fixed frequency input
- It was discovered that the main sensitivity was improved when the offset
voltage was applied to l- loop.
-> This resulted in reduction of the amplitude noise.
- End at 0AM or so.
1999/8/6 DT1

- Interferometer
- Starting alignment at 17:00.
- In earlier stage, the IFO was somehow unstable.
- The LD current has been reduced a bit. Then, the IFO became stable (21:00).
The lock lasted 3hours.
- The lock was lost at 0:00. The MC and the IFO were re-aligned.
- The IFO became unstable again until 1:00.
-> The alignment loop of EW arm END Pitch had small oscillation.
-> Gain of this loop has been reduced a bit.
- The IFO was so much stable. The lock continued until 8:00.
7 hours stretch has been achived!
- Necessities of compensation of BS orientation drift, completion of MC auto-alignment,
lock-lost alarm, and automatic switching were recognized.

- Testing the data acquisition system with high sampling rate.
- Measuring drift of transfer functions
- Measuring drift of optical gain etc by applying fixed frequency signal.
- Measuring variation of the main sensitivity.

Each person in charge of each experiment is responsible to his own set
up.
