As reported on this home page, we have achieved a
thousand-hour observation in the summer of 2001.
To extract candidates of gravitational-wave (GW) signals,
the accumulated data are under analysis.

Now scientists who are interested in gravitational-wave
astronomy are welcome to join us. Research items to be
processed are followings:

* To develop new analysis methods to detect GW signals

* To realize online analysis with feasible computing
power: It includes hardware development such as digital
  signal processors (DSP).

* To study on gravitational-wave sources and/or their
  waveforms:
Inspiral of compact-star binary and its coalescence
    Black-hole formation
    Pulsar
    Supernova
    Gamma-ray burst
    Stochastic background

If anyone has a passion to collaborate with us, please
contact the undermentioned person. We would welcome newcomers.

In addition to the above GW signal searches, we can
present our data for application to other research fields.

To begin the joint research using TAMA data, please read
and follow our guideline. Applications to use the
latest data (in the summer of 2001) will be accepted after
March of 2002.
