The 2nd TAMA Workshop

on Gravitational Wave Detection

October 19 (Tue) to 22 (Fri) in 1999

National Olympics Memorial Youth Center, Tokyo, Japan

The workshop will be organized similar to the 1st TAMA Workshop in Saitama, Japan (November 1996). The emphasis of the workshop this time is on discussion of the results of TAMA300 (TAMA300 is expected to be in the final phase of completion at the time of the workshop), as well as on the current status of other projects. In addition, there will be discussions of both developed and developing advanced techniques in the various fields necessary for improving the sensitivity of gravitational wave detectors.
