The German-British interferometric gravitational wave detector GEO600 requires about 10W of light power in order to achieve the target strain sensitivity of 10^(-22) Hz/sqrt(Hz). The laser system consists of a frequency-stabilised monolithic Nd:YAG laser (NPRO) and a laser diode pumped Nd:YAG high power ring laser which is injection locked by the NPRO. We will describe the performance of the frequency stabilisation and the noise properties of the injection-locked laser system.
